À propos

ABOUT

The main goal of the event is to share knowledge and know-how between the specialists working in the area of protection of critical infrastructure in NATO and Partner Countries. The event would create awareness about safety and security challenges that concern development especially of designing of protective structures loaded dynamically in elevated fire temperatures, taking into account strain rate and temperature sensitive of structured materials. Established contacts between participants might lead to future collaboration in various technical or scientific projects in above area. The long-lasting outcome of the event will be a book published in NATO science series, which will include all the speeches during the event as well as summaries, ideas and collaborations that would be established during discussions planned in this event.

The most important outcome for all participants will be acquaintance and knowledge of the development of modern technologies for strengthening, protection and monitoring systems that will provide safety and security of critical underwater infrastructure.

Additional gain from the event would be ideas for future scientific and technical activities in the field of research and development of protection of maritime critical infrastructure using high performance built materials and electronic systems including drones. That will be initialized during every day discussions which will be summaries of each panel of the training.

The planned publication in the NATO series will not only include the speeches but also the summaries, ideas and collaborations that would be established during this course. The audience will be selected from the people with security certificate.
